The first couple of hours on Saturday are explanation, samples and demonstrations of Stitching, Knotting, and Pole-wrapping techniques. Then the early afternoon is spent stitching, knotting, and wrapping fabric which will go into a deep blue dye bath at the end of Saturday afternoon.

Sunday demonstrations in the morning include more techniques: Itajime, Tesuji, Rope rolls and wraps. Again time is spent preparing the fabric and then we work with multiple colors and layering pouring the dye with steaming and vat dyeing.
